- Agreement about terms and conditions of engagement and the timing and method of payment.
We will also assign a dedicated project leader to be your main point of contact, so that you can always deal with someone who is working on your project and wants it to succeed. Terra Nova’s principal planners, Lee and Shane, keep tabs on all the current project and are also available to advise or update you on your project.
Fees and expenses
The fees we charge normally depends on the time and resources we need to devote to your project. The time we spend on a job is charged at an hourly rate depending on which team member is assigned to the work. We will include a fee estimate in our initial brief and let you know immediately if major issues arise that could require more time from us than expected.
Our fees may cover work such as meetings with you, other consultants or advisers, or with the relevant planning authorities, site visits, preparation of project drawings, concept plans and other graphic material, writing, editing and processing reports, presentation of reports, evidence and community consultation.
Expenses will be charged in addition to our fee and will be itemised in invoices. These expenses could include travel and accommodation, printing and purchasing maps, plans and other documents, postage and telephone calls.
